Cesc Fabregas doesn't want to leave Barcelona- Tito Vilanova

Fabregas wants to stay at Barcelona

Barcelona manager Tito Vilanova has confirmed Cesc Fabregas’s intention to stay at the club despite a £25m bid from Manchester United for the services of the Spain international.

Vilanova said: “I’m aware there have been offers. I had a conversation with him and he told me that he wanted to continue here and that he didn’t want to go to another big club.

“He wants to succeed here.”

Earlier this summer, Fabregas said: “If someone says anything that isn’t that I want to play at Barca, it’s completely absurd.”

The central midfielder has made 96 appearances for the Catalan club in two seasons that includes 60 league games. Having sold Thiago Alcantara to Bayern Munich, it looks unlikely that Barcelona will let another midfielder leave.
