Federation Cup: Prayag too good for United Sikkim

Jamshedpur – In an inconsequential tie at Keenan Stadium here on Monday, Prayag United salvaged some pride by beating United Sikkim 2-0 courtesy a first-half brace from Mohammad Rafique.

While neither team having any chance of qualifying for the next round, Prayag did not waste much time in asserting their supremacy in the match. In the second minute only Rafique found the back of the net. He doubled his tally minutes later.

With this match, Prayag United finish their group engagements on four points while United Sikkim go home without opening their account on the points table.
