Kane has an offer from Man City, Chelsea want Bale for Hazard and more: Premier League transfer news February 12, 2018

Tottenham Hotspur v Arsenal - Premier League
Manchester City rivaling Real?

Hello and welcome to the Premier League transfer round-up for 12 February, 2018. In terms of new rumors, there is nothing much, but there are some good updates regarding some stories of the past. That said, here we go!

#5 Newcastle United

One of winners of the January transfer window were Newcastle. With some shrewd signings, Rafa Benitez seems to have gotten the Toons back on track after a gritty 1-0 win against Manchester United.

Among the new signings, Martin Dubravka had a brilliant debut to keep a clean sheet against the Red Devils. His impressive performances may be a reason for this, as Chronicle report that the former Sparta Prague goalkeeper could be signed for £3.5 million at the end of the season.

Newcastle United have already paid £1.5 million for the goalkeeper in loan fee, but another 3.5 million won’t be a bad investment considering how well he performed against the Old Trafford outfit.

#4 A bit of Liverpool and West Ham

Another goalkeeper in the roundup

The goalkeeper problems at Liverpool are as apparent as the lack of soul in today’s music, which is why Liverpool fans can’t sleep well at night. As a result, Jurgen Klopp has decided enough is enough and is now looking to sign Stoke City’s Jack Butland and make him Liverpool’s first choice goalkeeper next season, say The Sun.

Meanwhile, the transfer window might be closed, but West Ham United aren’t done yet. They have only just completed the free signing Patrice Evra and are also close to signing Ryan Fredericks on a free transfer, says a West Ham insider on Twitter.

#3 Luka Modric quandary & Denis Suarez’s quagmire

Levante v Real Madrid - La Liga
The wizard of Madrid

There is some news coming out of Diario Gol that Adidas have taken away the number 10 jersey of Luka Modric. Apparently, there is a chance that someone else—a ‘star’—will take that number and Adidas, as a result, are keeping it vacant.

That’s not the point, though. The point is that Luka Modric, they say, could join the Premier League as he is seriously considering leaving Real Madrid after the World Cup in the summer.

Meanwhile, in another report from Diario Gol, Denis Suarez apparently wants to leave Barcelona with some Premier League clubs interested in him. While the report provides no name of potential suitors, it does add that they are not from the top echelons of England.

#2 Chelsea’s demands and Palace’s dreams

Levante v Real Madrid - La Liga
Bale back to Premier League?

In the last few days, Eden Hazard has been linked with a move to Real Madrid vehemently. Chelsea, meanwhile, have not been too vocal about it, but if reports from Don Balon are to be believed then the Blues will only enter negotiations with the Blancos over Eden Hazard should the Bernabeu outfit include Gareth Bale in the discussions.

Meanwhile, according to The Sun’s printed edition of 11th February, 2018, page 63, Crystal Palace are dreaming big as they want to sign former Chelsea forward Andre Schurrle from Borussia Dortmund. Crystal Palace tried to sign the German, who assisted Mario Gotze’s World Cup winning goal in 2014, in the winter, but failed.

They will try again in the summer.

#1 Manchester madness

Will Madrid let him go?

Like any other day, we have some updates here, as Diario Gol believe that Manchester City have made a €100 million offer for Real Madrid’s Isco. The Galacticos’ president, however, isn’t entirely convinced as he rates him at €150 million and also wants 30 days to decide on the offer.

Meanwhile, DIario Gol claim that Sergio Ramos is suffering and wants a better defensive partner in the form of Bonucci. Raphael Varane is said to have an offer from Manchester United, they also claim in the report.

Finally, the same website in another report say that Harry Kane has told Florentino Perez that he has a better offer from Manchester City and is apparently keen on it, which leaves Perez is a bit of sticky position.
