Queens Park Rangers‘ goal keeper Julio Cesar has admitted to have started negotiations with a Premier League club, with a prospect of staying back in England.

QPR, who will now play in the Championship, will look to offload Cesar with an intention to cut down on their wage bill.

The Brazil shot stopper, who faces England in a friendly match this Sunday at Rio de Janeiro, also says that he has generated interest from clubs elsewhere in Europe and in Brazil.

I am in negotiations with other clubs in England and from other countries but there’s still not been anything definitive,” said Cesar.

I am concentrating on Brazil, I still have a deal with QPR, but I also know I have to prove that I should be in the squad for the World Cup in 2014.”

However, it is speculated that Arsenal will be looking to make a move for Cesar in their bid to find a new number 1.
