Manchester United officials feel Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp will succeed Sir Alex Ferguson.

Klopp’s job at Borussia Dortmund has dazzled the United team and he is now the hot favourite to take over Fergie when he decides to step down, according to The Mirror.

Insiders reveal it is openly discussed among Fergie’s staff that he is THE manager in waiting.

They even believe that Ferguson agrees to Klopp as the kind of competent manager who would be suitable to pass the reins to, and who would also consult the Scot if the latter stays on in some capacity, as seems likely.
