Manchester United Legends vs Real Madrid Legends - The Red Heart event

This Sunday, 2nd of June, will be a treat for the fans at Old Trafford when Manchester United take on Real Madrid in the Red Heart event. This epic match will feature the likes of Zinedine Zidane, Luis Figo, van Nistelrooy, Lee Sharpe, Paul Scholes and many more.

United trail 3-2 from the first game which took place a year ago at the the Santiago Bernabeu. Last year’s match was an action packed match where the Los Blancos dominated the Red Devils for the majority of the game. However, Sheringham could have easily equalized the scoreline but a missed penalty prevented him from doing so.

This year’s match also promises to be a huge sensation which will take place in front of thousands of United fans and hopefully a win will be on the cards for United. Paul Scholes, after he announced his retirement earlier this month, will also join up the ranks.

Ruud van Nistelrooy is said to feature for both the regiments, as he had been a phenomenal talent for Manchester in his early days, and Madrid later. It will be nice to see him play for both of these massive clubs, possibly switching jerseys at half time!
