Manchester United forward Alejandro Garnacho recently took to social media and celebrated winning the Red Devils' Player of the Month accolade for December.

The Argentine attacker was also named United's Player of the Month for November with 42 percent votes, as he scored twice in six appearances that month.

In December, Garnacho bagged two goals and two assists in eight appearances for Manchester United across competitions. Moreover, he was also named the Man of the Match during United's 3-2 comeback victory over Aston Villa on December 26.

Beating the likes of Jonny Evans and Kobbie Mainoo, Garnacho garnered 64 percent of the vote from fans for the December prize. The 19-year-old recently took to Instagram and uploaded a post where he can be seen holding his accolade.

He captioned the picture:

"It's nice to win the trophy 2 times in a row. Thanks for your support ALWAYS! Ready for Sunday."

Next up, Erik ten Hag's Manchester United will be hosting Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford on January 14 (Sunday).

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag sends a message to Jadon Sancho

English attacker Jadon Sancho rejoined his former club, Borussia Dortmund, on a loan deal with no option to buy on Thursday, January 11. Sancho made his last appearance for the Red Devils on August 26 last year.

The Englishman was dropped by Erik ten Hag from United's squad in their 3-1 defeat against Arsenal in September. The Dutch manager later stated that Sancho had been dropped based on his performance in the training.

However, the 23-year-old later dismissed the claims by stating in a social media post that he was being made a scapegoat. The attacker also refused to apologise and he was eventually suspended from the first team by Erik ten Hag.

Since then, the two have shared a fractured relationship. However, the former Ajax boss recently reacted to Sancho rejoining Borussia Dortmund on a loan deal. He said (via 90min):

"I hope he's doing well, so I wish him the best of good luck. That's it. I hope he's doing well and he'll be a success."

Borussia Dortmund will pay a reported price of £3 million for the Englishman in loan fee and part of his wages. Moreover, they will be eligible to pay an additional fee of £3.4m based on performance, UCL qualification, and appearances.
