However, it ended with Vinicius being sent off in stoppage time, contributing to Real Madrid's 1-0 defeat. Expressing his frustration, Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti strongly condemned the lack of action against continuous racial abuse.

According to reports from The Athletic, an announcement was made over the stadium's loudspeaker, warning that racist behavior would not be tolerated. However, Vinicius took to Twitter to express his discontent, saying this wasn't the first, second, or third time.

Racism is normalized in La Liga as per the player. He also added that the competition, the Spanish Football Federation, and even Madrid's opponents take no actions to put a stop to this barbaric behaviour.

This was not the first time the 22-year-old Brazilian had faced racial slurs during an away game.
