Tottenham Hotspurs manager Ange Postecoglou has made history by becoming the first manager to win back-to-back Manager of the Month awards in his first two months in the Premier League.

The Greek tactician has been voted as the Premier League Manager of the Month for September, following his side's brilliant run of results.

Postecoglou's men picked up 10 points out of the available 12 during the month of September. They won three games and drew one, scoring an impressive total of 11 goals in those games.

Spurs, picked up big wins against the likes of Burnley, Sheffield United and Liverpool while drawing away to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. Their brilliant run of form in September was a continuation of their performance in August where they also went unbeaten in three league games.

Overall, it has been a dream start to live in England for Postecoglou whose side has been brilliant since the start of the 2023-24 Premier League campaign. Tottenham are currently joint-top of the league with 20 points after eight games and will be hoping to make a serious title charge this season.

Meanwhile, Postecoglou will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of Jurgen Klopp who the first two Manager of the Month awards during the 2019-20 season. Klopp went on to win the Premier League title with his Liverpool side that season.

The north London outfit have had a blistering start to the 2023-24 football campaign under the leadership of a new manager. Postecoglou was appointed as Tottenham's manager earlier this summer and his arrival seems to have brought a resurgence in Spurs' performances this season.

Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha has backed Spurs to go all the way to win the title. When asked if Spurs can win the league this season, Saha told Betfred (via Football.london):

"Yes, because everything's possible. They have a big squad, they’re playing very well and as we’ve seen Leicester City win the Premier League, I’m not going to say that Tottenham Hotspur can’t win the Premier League title this season."

Next up for Spurs after the international break will be a run of London derbies in the league. Postecoglou's men will face Fulham, Crystal Palace and Chelsea in their next three Premier League fixtures.
