Olympic Gold not enough, Bolt wants United too

Olympics Day 10 - Athletics

Usain Bolt poses with the Olympic 100m gold medal.

Mere days after winning the 100m dash at the London Olympics, Usain Bolt has reiterated his desire to play for Manchester United. And insisted, he was not joking but completely serious about it.

Bolt revealed that he was eagerly awaiting for a call from United coach Sir Alex Ferguson and would jump at the chance to trial at United.

He also said he would not be relying only on speed to do well, if such an opportunity should arise and use it instead, to showcase his playing skills too. He was also confident of making a difference in a team filled with world-class talent.

Bolt has been previously associated with United. He gave training tips to Cristiano Ronaldo before he left for Real Madrid, and feels he helped the winger become a better player.

While not a realistic target for United, this news would certainly spice up the rumor mills already buzzing with impending transfers of Moura and van Persie to United.
