Gabon international, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has reportedly signed a pre-contract deal with Real Madrid and for the move to come into being, the officials at Signal Iduna Park has to decide upon the price that they are preparing sell the forward for. It is believed that the initial response of the Bundesliga club is to attach a non-negotiable 100 million euro price tag for the footballer.

Undoubtedly, the Dortmund officials and supporters are irked with the ongoing negotiations that are going on between the Spanish club and the player's agent.

The Gabon striker was signed by the current Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp in 2013 from the French club, Saint-Etienne FC. Aubameyang has played more than 80 matches for Borussia Dortmund and has scored over 50 goals for them in all competitions.

Aubameyang has been in superb form this season as he has scored 32 goals in the 37 matches. According to German media, the striker's sublime form has caught the attention of a lot of European clubs, which has, in turn, triggered the talks between Aubameyang's agent and the Los Blancos officials.

The African forward had arrived in Germany from France in a move worth nine million pounds and the German club believes that his value has increased ten folds during his tenure at Signal Iduna Park.

Aubameyang is one of the fastest footballers in the world and his style of play is that of a versatile forward who is capable of playing anywhere in front of a three-man-attack formation, as well as in the role of an attacking midfielder. The Gabonese is also an able set piece taker who often finds the back of the net with his direct freekicks and consistent penalties.

He also has good ball control and dribbling ability which enables him to beat most players one-on-one and also possesses good vision – a fact which can be backed by the number of assists he has made in his playing career till date.

It is believed that the current Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane has been one of the instigators at the Spanish capital who has requested his chairman to sign the 26-year-old Gabon forward and various news agencies in Germany seem to be quite confident that the move will eventually sustain through despite the obstacles that Borussia Dortmund are putting on its course.

The legendary ex-France international took over as the manager of Real Madrid on 4 January 2016, immediately after Rafa Benitez was fired by the Florentino Perez.
