Manchester United are reportedly looking to sell Harry Maguire in the summer for £40 million, with Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United interested.
The £200,000 per week player has served as a backup defender for the majority of the season. While Maguire has played 30 matches this season, only 15 of those have been as starters in the playing XI. The club captain has fallen behind the likes of Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane in the pecking order.
According to Football Transfers, he looks set to be on the move in the summer and Tottenham or West Ham might be ideal destinations for him. Despite failing to impress at Manchester United, Maguire can prove to be a solid addition to other Premier League sides. At 30, he still has a lot of miles left in him.
Journalist Dean Jones recently claimed Maguire looks set to leave, telling GiveMeSport:
"He’d have to open minded to the fact that this is over, it’s very unlikely that he can stay especially given that Victor Lindelof has had a bit of a turnaround in form and pushed himself up the pecking order."
He added:
“So, I think that Maguire’s time is up, but we don’t know that for sure yet because the conversations haven’t happened and it’s only once this season is up that that will be formalised."
Manchester United signed Maguire for a world record fee for a defender of £80 million from Leicester City in 2019. Since then, he has made 174 appearances for the Red Devils.

Manchester United will return to action on May 20 as they take on Bournemouth in a Premier League away clash. Erik ten Hag's team enter the contest on the back of a 2-0 home win against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
United are fourth in the Premier League table with 66 points from 35 games and look set to secure a top-four finish this season. Two wins from the remaining three matches can Ten Hag's team secure a return to the UEFA Champions League.
However, with Liverpool breathing down their neck, the Red Devils can't afford any slip-up in their remaining three games. The Reds are just a point behind, having played one more game than United.
