The uncertainty over the future of Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna rumbles on, with Mirror reporting that he is considering lucrative contract offers from a host of clubs around Europe. The right-back is out of contract at the end of the season, but is yet to sign the two year contract offered by the club. He is free to sign a pre-contract agreement with foreign sides from January 1st, and a number are reported to be lining up for his services.

He has long been linked with French duo Paris Saint Germain and Monaco, but Mirror reports that he also has offers from clubs in the middle east and Turkey. Whilst it is understood that Sagna is keen to stay at the Gunners, he has concerns over the length and value of their contract offer. His offer from Turkey is reportedly for four years, a length that Arsenal will not match for a player that is 31 in February.

Arsenal have offered the France international a two year deal, at similar terms to his current £70,000 per week wages. Whilst former teammates have left the club, Sagna has previously stayed loyal to Arsenal in the face of interest from Manchester City. However, with the club only willing to offer him a two year deal, Sagna is open to offers in coming transfer window.

Sagna has created 11 chances this season, almost double the number created by Kieran Gibbs on the opposite flank.
