Tottenham are looking to loan out Lamela

Tottenham are looking to send Erik Lamela on loan to Atletico Madrid. The 21 year old winger arrived at the White Hart lane for a fee of about £25.8m as a replacement for Gareth Bale but has found it difficult to settle in and break into the first team. Clubcall reports that Tottenham want to improve the confidence of the player and still believe in his capability and would not consider selling him. The player is supposedly struggling with language and cultural changes and a move to Spain would help the player. The Argentine International also wants to get more first team opportunities as he wants to be a part of the national team that will play in the World cup at Brazil. Lamela has made just six appearances in the league for Tottenham while scoring once in the Europa league in five appearances.
