Rumour: Three Premier League strikers are on Arsene Wenger's radar

Arsene Wenger

Sports Direct News suggests Arsene Wenger has set his eye on three targets during the January transfer window.

His first target is Liverpool’s Luis Suarez. Arsenal had talks over Suarez in the summer, but Liverpool did not agree to the deal. Wenger still hopes to rope in his number one target.

If the Suarez deal does not materialise yet again, the French manager’s next target is Manchester United’s striker, Javier Hernandez. The signing of the Mexican striker depends upon how much game time he gets under David Moyes.

Wenger’s third target in the transfer window is West Bromwich Albion’s young striker Saido Berahino. Saido, 20, has been involved in contract talks with his current talks which are said to be proposing a wage hike to around £15,000 week. However, he might see becoming an Arsenal player as a massive boost to his chances of entering Roy Hodgson’s squad for Brazil and working under Wenger as a too good an opportunity to miss.
