According to Sports Direct News, Barcelona are ready to rope in Dutch superstar Robin van Persie, if he leaves Manchester United in January.
Recent rumours suggest, the Dutchman is unhappy at the club under manager David Moyes. He was signed last year from rivals Arsenal last year by the then manager, Sir Alex Ferguson.
It is believed that Barcelona are preparing a bid for the 30-year-old striker in January. The Catalan giants are short of genuine goal scorers upfront after an injury sustained by Lionel Messi, and have been linked with many options in that position, though the signing van Persie would be natural after his fine form over the last few years.
