Berlin, April 22 (IANS): Christian Gentner and Vedad Ibisevic scored against Freiburg to wrap up a 2-1 victory for Stuttgart while bottom side Greuther Fuerth stunned Nuremberg 1-0 to close the 30th round of German Bundesliga.

Stuttgart wrapped their third consecutive win owing to their clinical chance conversion against Freiburg who wasted the opportunity to close in on a Champions League play off spot.

Stuttgart climb from 12th to 10th place whereas Freiburg stay in 5th position.

In the other match Sunday, bottom side Greuther Fuerth carved out a surprising 1-0 win over Nuremberg to seal their second win of the season. Johannes Geis scored the only goal of the match with a stunning shot from 25 metres.

Nevertheless, Greuther Fuerth will be relegated to the second league at the end of the season while Nuremberg slump from 11th to 12th position.
