Tottenham Hotspur have decided to part ways with manager Andre Villas-Boas.
After a series of unfortunate results, the club finally decided to release the Portuguese manager. The club mentioned that the decision was taken on the basis of mutual consent and in the interests of all parties.
A club representative was quoted: “We wish Andre well for the future. We shall make a further announcement in due course.”\
Spurs are currently placed 7th in the league table. They have secured 27 points from 16 games.
Tottenham’s two of the heaviest defeats of this campaign came against Manchester City 6-0 and Liverpool 0-5.
