According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, it was Cristiano Ronaldo who demanded president Florentino Perez to offload Gonzalo Higuain from the club.

The Italian daily writes that Ronaldo was angered by the Argentine striker's reluctance to pass him the ball and the duo reportedly fell out of favour at the Bernabeu. Ronaldo took centre stage once again and demanded Perez to sell Higuain which paved the way for his transfer to Napoli.

The Belgian made it clear that he had no intentions of leaving the Roman club then but revealed that Chelsea had made an offer for him.

Nainggolan said, "Well I made my choice. I never hesitated or thought for a minute about leaving, so it doesn't matter if it's Chelsea or anyone else."

The Italian champions have decided against bidding for FC Barcelona midfielder, Andre Gomes. The new advancement in this story has been reported by Mundo Deportivo who claims that the Turin based side have been impressed by the emergence of the youngster, Rodrigo Bentancur.

The Juventus bosses are tempted to give the youngster a chance to develop rather than spending a fortune on the Portuguese international.

The RasenBal Sport Leipzig custodian, Peter Gulacsi has emerged as a potential transfer target for both Chelsea and Arsenal. The Daily Mail understands that the Hungarian international has impressed the Premier League sides who are monitoring his weekly performances.

Arsenal are looking at Gulacsi as a Petr Cech replacement whereas Chelsea see him as an able deputy for Thibaut Courtois. Gulacsi has had a taste of the English football as he was with Liverpool for five years before joining RB Leipzig.

Fabregas has 18 months remaining on his current deal but the Blues want to make him sign an extension soon. The length of the contract is yet to be decided but the creative midfielder is all set to receive a pay hike.

Everton to make an approach for Sean Dyche in the next 24 hours

Sky Sports has revealed that the Toffees are ready to make an official approach for Burnley boss, Sean Dyche in the next 24 hours. Dyche is Everton's number one target to take over the reigns from Ronald Koeman and save the club from relegation.

Dyche is also interested in accepting the offer from a big English club with Burnley resigned to losing their favoured man. Alan Pardew and David Moyes are being looked at as the potential candidates to take over from Dyche at Turf Moor.
