Jurgen Klinsman writes personalized letter to help USA employees watch World Cup match

United States of America head coach has written a ‘get out of work letter’ for the employees to help them watch the crucial final game of Group G against 3-times champion Germany and render their support.

Jurgen Klinsmann has provided a personalized letter to assist millions of American employees who would not be able to watch the match against Germany due to them being on-duty. The letter has been signed by the manager himself.

Klinsmann has tweeted the “get out of work letter’ for the football fans who are striving for an hour or so to view the much awaited match which will be broadcasted at midday working time on Thursday on national TV.

The note, which can be inked out and filled in individually urges employers to relieve supporters from work on that day. “I understand that this absence may reduce the productivity of your workplace but I can assure you that it is for an important cause,” it adds. Klinsmann also urges managers to excuse themselves and watch the game.

The Unites States National Soccer Team website is on a publicity drive for the note written by the Head coach and also has a plan B for those whose requests are turned down. “You can just do what most of us will do: play hooky,” it advices.

The support for the USA football team has reached feverish levels this World Cup. The team’s impressive win over Ghana attracted 16 million viewers and it reached a record 25 million for the Portugal game. With this personalized letter from the Jurgen Klinsmann himself, the numbers are expected to break new records for the USA football team.
