West Ham boss Sam Allardyce has confirmed that he won’t beg for a deal at the end of the season.
The 58-year-old guided West Ham to promotion from the Championship and is responsible for the club’s survival in the Premier League for two seasons. However, Allardyce has confirmed that West Ham owners David Gold and David Sullivan have agreed to hold discussions soon.
The hummers boss said he would like to continue with West ham as long as Sir Alex Ferguson for Manchester United, whose team is coming to Upton Park tonight. Allardyce is close to agreeing to a new deal at the club but reveals that he is ‘a pain in the a**’ to owners for never being satisfied with the funds.

The West Ham boss said:
‘I don’t know. If I was managing Manchester United, yes. There is another stint I’m looking forward to here hopefully, which will get sorted out once we have made sure of our Premier League status.
‘Beyond that I could get sacked in six months next season or less. If results don’t go our way and we start the season poorly then I am more likely to get sacked than stay here for the period of the contract. That’s life in football now.
‘Tony Pulis is under pressure. People are calling for Tony’s head, which is a sad state of affairs. That’s football in a nutshell these days. The more popular it gets worldwide the more the patience and loyalty runs out, unfortunately.’
West Ham are currently seven points clear of the relegation zone but Allardyce doesn’t seem satisfied.
‘My life is always about never being satisfied.’
‘I want to do better. I’m a pain in the a** to the owners, because I’ve never got enough money and I’ve never got enough players. That’s just the way I am and sometimes perhaps they feel that’s little bit difficult to live with.
At a point it also looked like the West Ham owners are stalling on an offer, to which Allardyce responded:
‘I’m not begging for a contract.’
‘Never had to beg for a contract at all. Our understanding was we’ll see where we are (at the end of the season), which was more my idea than theirs.’
