Dana White has been vocal about his disapproval of the media coverage related to the Power Slap League. The UFC president recently shared that he plans to expose the unfair coverage.

During a recent appearance on My Mom's Basement, the Power Slap executive was asked how the media coverage compares to when he started the UFC. White replied by saying:

"It's f**king deja vu. It's exactly the same. There's no difference between it. All the media talking about, 'this is horrible, this is disgusting, this should never happen, yada, yada, yada'. All these guys want to act like they're big UFC f**king guys now. Nobody was touching this s**t back in the day. Nobody would write about it. Nobody took us serious. Nobody said that this would ever be a real sport."

Dana White added that he will make a documentary calling out media members who unfairly covered Power Slap:

"I'm working on even a bigger piece about the media. Faces, publications, names, what they said, the whole deal. It's going to live forever, and I'll do the same with Power Slap once we get where we're going."

While Power Slap has been criticized by many in the MMA community, it has surprisingly performed well online. It remains to be seen if White can grow the league to the level that the UFC has reached.

Dana White previously addressed Power Slap criticisms

Since the debut of Power Slap: Road to the Title, the show has received criticism for its violence. UFC President Dana White addressed those critics prior to the show's debut, stating:

"We spend the money to make sure we have two healthy people in there, proper medical attention during and after the fight. These are the things we need to educate people on, just like we needed to educate people on mixed martial arts."

White added:

"In Slap, they take three-to-five slaps per event. Fighters in boxing take 300, 400 punches per fight. And guess what, you know what my answer to that is? If you don't f**king like it, don't watch it! Nobody's asking you to watch this. Oh, you're disgusted by it? Watch The Voice."

While White has already declared the show a success, it remains to be seen if TBS will renew Power Slap for a second season.
