Former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title challenger Liam Harrison is finally back at full contact training. This comes after his Muay Thai fight with former ONE bantamweight MMA world champion John Lineker was scrapped.

Harrison shared the good news with his fans and followers on Instagram, where he was doing his pad work. He was seen throwing powerful combinations of punches, kicks, knees, and elbows, and he captioned his post with:

“Only been back training 10 days and everything falling into place nicely… training without being in pain is making a massive difference to everything. I probably could have fought next month the way things are going but I have a seminar retreat in Colombia and my @hitman_fightleague show both next month so as soon as those are out the way only need an 8 week camp and I’ll be good to go. #muaythai #boxing #padwork #lastdance

The British combat sports veteran was supposed to welcome Lineker into the Muay Thai ruleset at ONE Fight Night 18 this January, but the fight fell off, and the two are out of the card. Harrison is now fully recovered from the injury he sustained during his world title fight with Nong-O Hama in August 2022 at ONE in Prime Video 1, where he suffered multiple ligament tears on his knee.

Before suffering that defeat from Nong-O, the Bad Company representative scored back-to-back stoppage wins over Mohammed Bin Mahmoud in January 2020 at ONE: A New Tomorrow and Muangthai PK Saenchai in April 2022 at ONE 156.

Liam Harrison continues to inspire his fans and followers with motivational content on social media

During his long and grueling recovery from injury, Harrison has been posting motivational content for his fans and followers on various social media platforms. He has shared his decade-long journey as a professional athlete and bestowed life lessons from it.

Additionally, he’s done fight breakdowns and analysis on his YouTube channel.

Harrison has now completed the details of his return to the world’s largest martial arts organization, as he previously called out Thai legend Seksan Or Kwanmuang for his potential retirement fight later this year. According to him, it would be the perfect ending to his storied pro career.
