Before in Jakarta, the Asian championship series were held in May and June this year in Malaysia and Singapore, respectively. In Indonesia, the championship will be held in Jakarta International Expo (JIEXPO), Central Jakarta, reports Xinhua.

“Besides the championship, we would also feature a non-competition drifting event called The Final battle. This would be the second event held in the country,” said Edward Mamahit, Head of Global Marketing of PT Multistrada Arah Sarana, an Indonesian tire producer that co-organised the event.

A total of 14 acclaimed international drifters have registered themselves to take part in the Final Battle event that is separated from the Asian drifting series championship, Edward said.
