Brexton Busch, the six-year-old son of two-time NASCAR Cup Series winner Kyle Busch, is showing all the signs of becoming a future star in racing. Over the last few months, Kyle Busch’s son has participated and has won several races at the junior level.

Brexton Busch recently added another race under his belt at a very young age. This was something of which fans will be able to get a behind-the-scenes look as Kyle Busch shared a teaser of his YouTube video on his Twitter account.

Taking to Twitter, Busch senior tweeted:

“New @brextonbusch vlog is dropping on my @YouTube channel. It’s one u won’t wanna miss as he got his first win in the 18B Junior Sprint!”

The veteran driver started driving at the age of six in a makeshift go-kart near his house. So it's not surprising that Busch introduced his son to racing at the same age.

Last year, his son made a debut in the Beginner Box Stockcar series, which features drivers aged between 5 and 8.

Last month, in an interview with Speedway Digest, the Joe Gibbs Racing driver described his son as someone who is ‘very young for his age’. Apart from being the father, he is also the coach of his son. Later, Busch revealed that in the process of teaching his son, he himself is learning a little bit too. He said:

“As I’m his driver coach, I’m helping him through things and I’m thinking – I’m on the side-lines and I’m like okay, what do I need to tell him? How can I explain this to a six-year-old so when he comes off the racetrack to go over things and watch a film, I can talk to him about it?”

Kyle Busch’s performance at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Driving the #18 Toyota Camry, Kyle Busch put in a solid performance and finished 4th in the recently concluded Pennzoil 400. Even though Busch hasn’t won any races yet, he has shown consistent performances so far this season.

He had a sixth-place finish at Daytona 500, a 14th place finish at WISE Power 400, and a 4th place finish at Pennzoil 400. In the latest release points table of the 2022 Cup Series, he stands in 5th place with 102 points.

The 36-year-old will look to convert his good performance into a victory next weekend at Phoenix Raceway. With just a day left to kick off the first race of the season at the 1-mile-long track.
