Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers had a rough night in Philadelphia on Sunday. The reigning NFL MVP, who is already nursing a thumb fracture, tossed two interceptions before exiting the game after suffering a rib injury, paving the way for backup quarterback Jordan Love to finish the game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Love impressed in his brief cameo, with the highlight of his outing being a long touchdown completion to rookie wide receiver Christian Watson, who continues his stellar form after a rough start to life as a Green Bay Packers star.

ProFootballTalk's Mike Florio had a wild take on the Aaron Rodgers-Jordan Love situation. After Rodgers' exit, Florio tweeted:
"From the broken thumb to this new oblique injury, there's a chance we don't see Aaron Rodgers play again this year. Which means there's a chance we never see Aaron Rodgers play again, ever."
Has Aaron Rodgers played his last game for the Packers?
With the Green Bay Packers currently sitting with a 4-8 record, they will likely have to win all their remaining regular-season games, or in Aaron Rodgers' famous words, 'run the table,' to stand a chance of making it to the playoffs.
The Packers are scheduled to face the red-hot Miami Dolphins and NFC North leaders Minnesota Vikings later in the year. It's fairly unlikely that they will be able to win all their remaining games and book a spot in the playoffs.
It would make sense for the Packers to shut down Rodgers for the rest of the season and allow Love to showcase what he's capable of. But if Love performs well, it would make sense for the Packers to trade Rodgers to build some cap space to add weapons to the roster. There's also the possibility that the reigning MVP will decide to call it quits on his glorious career and ride off into the sunset.
There's nothing to indicate that Rodgers or the Packers are considering moving on from each other at the end of the 2022 season. But it's a possibility.
