Bill Belichick and the Patriots got a major upset victory in Week 8 as they defeated the Bills 29-25 at home on Sunday. New England's offense looked in sync as it fared well against a very good Buffalo defense. The win came as a surprise to many, including Mike Florio of NBC Sports.

Florio talked about the win for Belichick while giving an optimistic tune for the team's offense moving forward:

"The first four weeks were always extended preseason for the Patriots. I'm not ready to say they're going to run the table or, you know, head to the playoffs. But maybe yesterday was that turning point?
"You know, we've seen different teams, the turning point comes Week 5, Week 6, Week 7. Maybe that's the turning point for the offense. Maybe they'll be more competitive going forward. So, it's not just the Bills crumbling, maybe the Patriots rising up out of the morass."

The 29 points were the most since Week 6 of last season against the Cleveland Browns, when they put up 38 points. New England had 20 points in its three previous games, all losses.

Quarterback Mac Jones had a great game, passing for 272 yards and a touchdown. It was his first multiple-touchdown game since Week 17 against the Bills last season.

The game marked just the second time he didn't throw an interception in a game. New England also snapped a four-game losing streak to Buffalo.

The 71-year-old Bill Belichick became the third coach in NFL history with 300 regular season wins, joining Hall of Famers Don Shula and George Halas. It was his 331st win in total, which is second to Shula's 352 wins.

When he hangs up the headset, Belichick will join Shula and Halas in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

He's the all-time leader among head coaches in Super Bowls won (six) and appearances (nine). The legendary coach also has a record of 31 wins in the playoffs.

Despite the Patriots' 2-5 record, Belichick is already the greatest of all time and looks to get the team back to the playoffs once again.
