Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers suffered their fifth consecutive loss as they lost to the Detroit Lions last night. The Packers' offense once again failed miserably, as they were able to score just nine points against the Lions' defense, which is considered to be the worst in the league.

Rodgers had a terrible game as he threw three interceptions. He finished the game with 23/43 attempted passes, 288 yards, and a touchdown pass to Allen Lazard.

The Packers have lost to the New York Giants, New York Jets, Washington Commanders, Buffalo Bills, and Lions in this five-game losing streak. Following the shocking series of results, the Packers quarterback was asked whether he regrets returning to the Packers in dramatic fashion.

Rodgers replied:

"When I decided to come back, I was all in and, and I don't make decisions. And then, you know, hindsight, 2020, you know, have regrets about big decisions like that. So I was all in and this is a lot of life lessons for sure this year. But luckily, it's not over, there's still a lot of games left will be counted out probably by many. And we'll see how we respond."

He added:

"I've been counted out many times in my life, as have many of my teammates. And I hope we just dig deep. And find a way we will truly be underdogs for many games moving forward. Hopefully, we can embrace that. We have two games at home. We got to go win those two games in a week and then this thing looks a little different."

All three of Rodgers' interceptions were in the redzone and had the interceptions not been there, the score would have been very different. Things don't get any easier for the Packers as they now have a lot of tough fixtures coming forward.

The Green Bay Packers will face the formidable-looking Dallas Cowboys at home next week. The Cowboys' defense has been one of the best in the league and it could cause serious problems for Rodgers, who hasn't looked great this season.

Although the former NFL MVP has played well against the Cowboys throughout his career, Sunday's game will be very tough for him. He has a 5-3 record against America's Team in the regular season so far in his career.

In those eight games, the 38-year-old gunslinger has a passer rating of 99.7 with 1,940 yards, 11 touchdowns, and 1 interception. The Cowboys are currently a -4.5 favorite against the Packers.
