Fred Warner led the San Francisco 49ers to the Philadelphia Eagles for the NFC Championship game of the 2022 NFL season but left battered and bruised after a 31-7 humbling.

Much of the outcome rested on the fact that San Francisco lost Brock Purdy to injury during the game. Purdy, himself a third-choice starter this season, was replaced by backup quarterback Josh Johnson, who was later concussed and had to leave the game. Many things went wrong for Fred Warner and his teammates in the game.

However, if they're looking to put it right on their next visit, Warner would have to travel to Philadelphia without his wife Sydney because as bad an afternoon as Warner had, it seems his wife had it even worse.

The Philadelphia Eagles are known to have one of the most passionate fanbases in the country, and some have been known to overstep the mark while supporting their team. Based on her fan experience, there were some instances of rowdy behavior while Sydney was attending the game.

Apparently, she was sworn at, shoved and allegedly someone hoped that their airplane would crash. Based on her experience at the football game, she has made it clear now that she will not be returning to the stadium ever again.

Fred Warner's wife not the first to experience bad behavior in Philadelphia

The issue of fan behavior in Philadelphia has been a longstanding one. There were reports of unruly conduct when the Eagles last won the Super Bowl.

There were instances of rioting, vandalism, widespread disorder, broken windows, looting, fire, cars being flipped and general chaos. Even after the NFC Championship game win, there were reports of bus shelters collapsing and people climbing poles and traffic lights.

In fact, the history of 49ers and Eagles has an interesting place when it comes to the Philadelphia fan base and their less than exemplary conduct.

While playing against the 49ers in 1997 at home, multiple fights broke out between Philadelphia and San Francisco fans. Flares were thrown and skrimishes were reported. The situation led to the assignment of Municipal Court Judge Seamus McCaffery to the Eagles' stadium in home football games. His remit was to deal with unruly fans within the confines of the Eagles' old Veterans Stadium.

That behavior certainly does not seem to have abated based on the latest reports and what Fred Warner's wife allegedly had to go through.
