Cristiano Ronaldo, the man of the hour, had a brief interaction with Brady post-game, which the quarterback shared on his Instagram account.

Brady congratulated Ronaldo before taking a few photos with the soccer superstar. It was a special occasion at Old Trafford and not just because Brady was in attendance. Ronaldo's first goal, a thunderbolt from distance, saw him go level with Austrian-Czech soccer player Josep Bican as the highest goalscorer in football history.

Ronaldo's second, a tap-in from a close distance, was his 806th career goal, which made him the highest goalscorer in the history of soccer, per FIFA records. The 37-year-old star completed his hat-trick late in the night to win the game for his side and cap off the historic night with a memorable performance.
