Xavier Worthy, the newest offensive weapon for Patrick Mahomes after being picked in the first round by the Chiefs, has wrapped up perhaps one of the most memorable moments of his life. Prior to the NFL Draft, Xavier and his girlfriend, Tia Jones, knew he would be flying somewhere in the next few days, but they had no idea where he would be going.

It turned out that he would be going to the Midwest to join the reigning Super Bowl champions, Kansas City Chiefs. Both he and his girlfriend took to Instagram on Friday to document the experience with close to 20 photos.

The wide receiver posted eight photos of his journey, from a ride in an SUV to what appeared to be a private plane. He also posted what appeared to be a couple of photos from draft night and his first conversations with the team following his selection.

Worthy's girlfriend, Tia Jones, posted ten photos from the event on Friday, throwing in hashtags directed at the Chiefs and her boyfriend.

The wide receiver's stint in Kansas City did not finish on the runway, though. The Chiefs publicized the wide receiver's visit to the team's facilities. He observed everything, including the lobby, training facility, training field, and locker room. Inside the team's headquarters, he discovered Andy Reid.

The Chiefs captured what may have been their first face-to-face conversation on the same team, although the team's social media account covered up the noise with music.

However, the two were seen smiling and laughing, indicating that things appear to have gotten off to a chill start.

Of course, missing in the video is Patrick Mahomes, who may or may not have already spoken with his new wide receiver. Xavier Worthy joins a receiver room with Rashee Rice, former Ravens receiver Hollywood Brown, and Travis Kelce.
