Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers are in a spot of bother right now. The reigning NFL MVP and his team are seeing their season slip away right before their eyes.

After a poor start to the new NFL season, the Packers have hit a new low by sosing 23-21 to the Washington Commanders. They have now fallen to 3-4 and are two games behind the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC North.

Needing a field goal to win and only seconds to get it, Green Bay launched an odd play. It saw many players take possession of the football and throw several laterals.

Rodgers was the last player to have the ball as he heaved it across the field in the hopes of getting a touchdown. It didn't work and the star quarterback couldn't believe it as he slumped to the ground. Watch below.

Many were expecting a response from the Packers after last week's debacle against the New York Jets. It didn't happen and now many questions will be asked as to how the team moves forward.

After starting 3-1, Green Bay has now lost three consecutive games against opponents many thought they would beat.

Green Bay lost every meaningful stat on Sunday. The Commanders had more yards, more first downs, and a better third-down conversion.

The Packers, through four quarters, did not pick up a single third down. They went 0/6 and the Commanders had a whopping 25 more plays than the Packers. Washington also had the ball for 15 more minutes.

It is definitely crisis point in Wisconsin as the offense has looked a shell of its usual self. Without Davante Adams, Green Bay has found it incredibly hard to score and when they do, it's tough sledding.

Just where the team goes from here will be interesting, but something has to change. Last week's loss to the Jets saw them score only 10 points, and now in the defeat to Washington, they had only 14 until late in the game.

In the last three seasons, the Packers only lost three games for the entire year. Through seven games in 2022, they have already lost four.

With the Bills and Cowboys to come in the next three weeks, Aaron Rodgers the Packers could find their season over at the halfway point. Something that seemed impossible at the start of the season!
