The Pepsi team invitational race in Oregon over the weekend saw an exciting finish. Oregon's Tanguy Pepiot led for most of the race and looked like cruising to a comfortable win. With only a few meters to cross the finish line, Pepiot started to celebrate his win. He even egged on the crowd to cheer for him.

He had something else in store when the finish line seemed closer. Washington's Meron Simon was right behind Pepiot and won the race thanks to a late surge. The move clearly surprised Pepiot and the crowd in the stadium.

It serves as a lesson for everyone about not celebrating until the job is complete.
