5 brand ambassadors of the Pakistan Super League

Pakistan are all set to join the domestic T20 league bandwagon in 2016 with the inaugural season of the Pakistan Super League. The tournament will be played in the UAE between 4 February and 23 February next year with Dubai and Sharjah being the two venues.The five teams which will be participating in the PSL represent five major cities of the country – Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, Peshawar Zalmi, Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators. Some big names from Pakistan cricket as well as those from other countries will be taking part in the tournament.Out of the entire PSL roster, 5 cricketers have been chosen to become brand ambassadors for the respective franchises that will pick them in the players draft. Let’s take a look at who they are:

#5 Shoaib Malik

The mercurial Pakistani allrounder is sure to put in his best efforts in promoting the image of his country’s first major T20 league. If he can manage to get his act right with both bat and ball, Afridi has the calibre to transform the inaugral season of the PSL into a blockbuster.

Although his powers may have waned a bit in the recent past, Shane Watson still remains one of the most dangerous allrounders in world cricket. On his day, Watson has the ability to decimate the best of bowling attacks and he has proved it time and again, particularly in T20 cricket.

The Aussie will be taking part in the Pakistan Super League next year and is going to be the brand ambassador for one of the franchises. If Shane Watson is able to replicate his IPL efforts in the PSL, he will surely propel the popularity of the league to unprecedented levels.
