His first class stats clearly reveal his potential as a left arm bowler.With Pakistan constantly producing quality fast bowlers it wouldn’t be a surprize if he has to wait a little longer for his chance at the highest level.A breakthrough season this year could surely put him under the selectors radar.

He was recently selected to play for South Africa A against India A and scored a useful 38 run knock for his team in the first innings.With South Africa looking for young batsmen in their test setup, he is somebody who can push for that spot with another impressive first class season.

Jomel Warrican is a young West Indian cricketer currently plying his trade for Barbados in the domestic circuit.He is a 23-year-old slow left arm orthodox bowler with an impressive first class record.

He has picked 66 wickets in 15 first class games at an unbelievable average of 16.43. Even considering the poor state of first class cricket in the Caribbean, his bowling average is extremely impressive to disregard his bowling prowess.

He was the fourth highest wicket taker in the 2014/15 first class season of West Indies. He managed to pick up 49 wickets in just nine games at an average of 14.97.With West Indies desperate to find a good young left arm slow bowler, he can be the solution to their quandary.At just 23 years of age he is bound to get better with his spinning abilities.If he can manage to maintain his first class bowling performances at the highest level, West Indies will find a long term spin bowler.

Cameron Bancroft is a 22-year-old Australian cricketer who plays his domestic cricket for Western Australia.He is a right handed batsman who can also keep wickets. In the 24 first class games he has played, he has scored 1570 runs at an average of 37.38 with four centuries and six half-centuries.

He has been in red hot form since last year – he was the third highest run-getter in the Sheffield Shield 2014/15 with 896 runs in 11 games at an impressive average of 47.15. With Australia struggling to find young batsmen who can bat for long periods in Test cricket, he can be the answer to the Aussie problem.

He was recently picked for the Australia A team to tour India and he didn’t disappoint the Australian selectors. He scored a beautiful 150 thereby setting up a win for his team against the hosts. With this hundred he has shown that even at such young age he is capable of adjusting to different conditions.

#1 Craig Overton

Craig Overton is a young English cricketer who plays for Somerset in county cricket.He is a right-arm pace bowler who has an impressive record in the 29 first class games he has played.

He has taken 95 wickets at an average of 24.54, which includes seven four-wicket hauls and two five-wicket hauls, thus showing his bowling prowess. In 21 List A games, he has picked 22 wickets at an average of 36.00.

He is also a handy batsman with an average of 26.40 in first class cricket along with seven half-centuries. He has already played some useful innings with the bat, an innings of 86 against Sussex in 2014 and then 99 against Lancashire.

At just 21 years of age he has shown he can become a good bowling all-rounder for England in the future.With a couple of good first class seasons he will surely push the English selectors to pick him for the highest level.
