5 Non-wrestling segments that could happen at WrestleMania 32

WrestleMania is not only about the matches that it boasts.The card might be packed with some great encounters, but then again, it’s the experience and the memories that make us remember the pay-per-view. The 2016 edition of WrestleMania is showing no signs of being different. It could have a solid match card from the looks of it, but that’s only half the job done.Some interesting non-wrestling segments should be put into the mix and if we go by the speculations, WWE has plenty of ammunition at their disposal. And here is a look at some of the non-wrestling segments that WWE could put together for WrestleMania.

#5 Introducing the HOF inductees

Hall of fame promo is must

This is a sure shot non-wrestling segment at WrestleMania. The Hall of fame class of 2016 is guaranteed a spot in WrestleMania and it is going to be a nostalgic experience for the fans.

Sting is a confirmed inductee in the class and his appearance itself is going to evoke a huge reaction from the fans. WWE might give Sting a platform to pull off a promo and if so, it would be a memorable one.

Other names being considered for the Class include JBL, Vader, The Fabulous Freebirds, and Stan Hansen coupled with some wild rumors about Owen Hart being inducted as well.

#4 Return of Hulk Hogan

Hogan could be returning at Mania

Hulk Hogan’s grudges with the WWE are apparently cooling down. Recently, rumors broke out that Hogan would be returning to WWE soon and if we think about it, there might be some truth in it.

What Hogan did was clearly not the biggest mistake and a wrestler like him, who has contributed so much to the business, could not be ignored all the time like they do with Chris Benoit.

If Hogan makes a surprise appearance at WrestleMania, it is going to be a good segment. Hogan’s name is synonymous with WrestleMania to an extent and even though he is well past his prime, fans will still love a promo from the Hulkster.

#3 A Ronda Rousey appearance

She belongs in WWE

Ronda Rousey made a huge impact at last year’s WrestleMania.

She had an in-ring segment with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at the show and just because of the success of it, WWE wanted her to compete at WrestleMania 32. The plan, however, did not go as planned for WWE, but that doesn’t mean Ronda won’t be there at Mania this year.

She could well be in the crowd for the event and if WWE wants, she might be involved in a segment as well. Considering her loss against Holly Holm, Ronda is probably a changed woman now and she would be eager to make another big statement ahead of the much-awaited rematch.

#2 Steve Austin beer celebration

This year’s WrestleMania is all set to take place in the hometown of Stone Cold Steve Austin and he is not going to miss his opportunity to be under the limelight.

Austin earlier teased an appearance at the pay-per-view and due to the hometown factor; WWE is going to pounce on the opportunity. We have no idea on where Austin would fit in but one thing is for sure, we are going to see a lot of beer drinking.

An Austin – New Day segment or an Austin – Kevin Owens segment would completely blow off the roof, while an Austin – Social Outcasts segment will also be a solid one for the fans.

#1 Rock and New Day version 2.0

Rock – Script = Awesome

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson going off-script on Monday Night Raw was absolute gold; and when the segment also had New Day, it turned out to be a classic one.

Something similar could be pulled off at WrestleMania. Rock will have a huge role to play at the pay-per-view due to Roman Reigns, but restricting Rock to only one segment would be foolish.

A standalone segment to cool off the crowd is something that the Brahma Bull could pull off with ease. And if he has New Day for the company, the fans are going to have a memorable experience, which by the way, is the purpose of such segments.
