The Royal Guests - Last nights Wimbledon Finals between Roger Federer and Andy Murray was witnessed by a host of VVIPs including her Royal Highness, the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, her sister Pippa Middleton, British Prime Minister David Cameroon, David Beckham, Sir Alex Ferguson, Roy Hodgson, Rupert Murdoch, Sachin Tendulkar and others.

$21,000 Tickets - With Andy Murray gunning to become the first British Man since 1936 to win a GrandSlam and Roger Federer getting poised to win his 17th Major title, the price of the tickets rose up to almost $21,000. Interestingly, the highest priced Super Bowl ticket till date is only around $15,000.

Sharapova crashes Djokovic’s press conference – When Novak Djokovic was giving a press conference during the first week of Wimbledon, Maria Sharapova suddenly appeared among the journalists and started questioning him. The Journalists asked him a question about his girlfriend and Djokovic masterfully changed the conversation about his dog!

The whole thing was quite funny!

Chivalry isn’t dead – Mardy Fish faced Jo Wilfred Tsonga in Wimbledon last week. During a serve, Fish hit a lines women right in her eye as Tsonga went straight to her to check if she was okay. Hmm. Chivalry isn’t dead after all!

Dead Man wins $158,056 for a bet he placed on Federer 9 years ago – Soon after a 21 year old Federer won his first Wimbledon title in 2003, Nick Newlife from Oxford, England placed a $2,000 bet on Federer stating that he will win seven Wimbledon titles by 2019. Nick died three years back but the bet he placed will now earn $158,056 to a Charity in England!

Now, that’s some confidence that Nick had on Federer.
