No Way Out 2012 Awards

Well, another pay-per-view has come and gone, and while I wouldn’t say it was amazing, I wouldn’t say it was horrible either. The show had it’s moments, and although there weren’t any surprises, the PPV managed to be somewhat memorable due to the high quality of some of it’s matches. It’s time to hand out our awards for the event. Let’s get underway, shall we?
Best Match Award
The Best Match Award goes to the best match that took place at No Way Out 2012.

Winner: CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Kane

When Kane was introduced into the WWE Championship picture, the response was mixed to say the least. Many thought that the Big Red Monster would take away from what could have been a one-on-one Punk/Bryan rematch. But at No Way Out, all three men were equals in a phenomenal match, full of great spots, near falls, and a lot of Macho Man Elbows. AJ’s involvement didn’t have as much impact on the final decision as many hoped, but I doubt anybody will complain if we see any combination of these men face off again.
Best Feud Award
The Best Feud Award goes to the individuals who participated in the best rivalry that culminated or progressed at No Way Out 2012.

Winner: CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Kane

Let’s look at our choices. Recycled Cena/Big Show feud, last minute Ziggler/Sheamus match, Divas, Santino’s random rivalry with Ricardo, and the fantastic suspenseful story that was the Punk/Bryan/Kane angle. Yeah, the choice is pretty simple.
Best Diva Award
The Best Diva Award goes to the Diva who excelled the most at No Way Out 2012 and the events leading up to it.

Winner: Beth Phoenix

Beth Phoenix may have lost in her match at No Way Out, and she may be horribly misused by the WWE, but over the past few weeks, she has been in matches. That’s more than any Diva in the WWE can say. She also put on a surprisingly good match with Layla at No Way Out to boot.
Biggest Loser Award
The Biggest Loser award goes to the individual who has failed the most at No Way Out 2012 and the events leading up to it.

Winner (or loser): Jack Swagger

Oh Swagger, what happened to you? Once a World Champion, and now a jobber. Swagger is one of the many examples of WWE dropping the ball on their talent, and it seems like Swagger is going to be stuck in lowish-mid-card jobber hell for the rest of his career. Shame since he’s such a talented wrestler.
Best Superstar
The Best Superstar award goes to the individual who has excelled the most at No Way Out 2012 and the events leading up to it.

Winner: Daniel Bryan

As CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, and Kane won our Best Match and Best Feud awards, it was only fitting that one of them got our Best Superstar award. Seeing as Daniel Bryan has impressed the most in all of this, it was an easy choice to give the American Dragon is millionth Best Superstar award.
