Barrett back on Twitter: Wade Barrett is back to tweeting about wrestling now that his vignettes have been airing on WWE TV. He wrote:

- Match Cancelled for SummerSlam: Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship was cancelled by SmackDown General Manager Booker T, following up on the storyline of Alberto Del Rio having Sheamus attacked during their match on SmackDown.

WWE has a new article on their website looking at new potential SummerSlam opponents for Sheamus now that Booker T has “taken away” Alberto Del Rio’s title shot at the pay-per-view.

- WWE Hall of Fame News: The 2013 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, April 6th, at Madison Square Garden.

- Raw Starter: CM Punk vs. The Big Show will kick off WWE Raw (13 August 2012).

- Red Bastein Passes Away: The Wrestling Observer is reporting that wrestling legend “Flying” Red Bastien passed away today at the age of 81. Bastien wrestled around the world in the 50s, 60s, and 70s and is credited with the discovery of such names as Sting and the Ultimate Warrior, among others.

Bastien had been struggling with Alzheimer’s for several years, and our thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family at this time.

- Tough Enough Diva Released: WWE developmental Wrestler Sofia Cortez (a/k/a Ivelisse Velez) announced via Twitter that she has been released by the company.
