According to reports, it appears for now that The Rock won’t be a part of Wrestlemania XXX. It looks very unlikely that the ‘people’s champion’ will be making a return as anticipated for a short stint in and around Wrestlemania as he did for the past couple of years.
According to the information given to a major licensee, the WWE have provided clear instructions to the former to not produce any merchandise involving The Rock.
They were okay with The Rock appearing in group shots along with other superstars. However, they were told to abstain from solo or specific merchandises targeted at The Rock because he was not going to be featured until 2015.
No official word is received yet on the issue, if it was The Rock indeed who said the news to the WWE officials. However, chances of his Wrestlemania XXX appearance now look pale.
