As we noted earlier this week, WWE released former World Champion & Hall of Famer Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat due to budget cuts.
But something changed over the past 48 hours & it looks like WWE has changed their mind. Steamboat reached out to several promoters outside of WWE to inform them that he can't do the appearance that he was booked to do & interviews & asked them if they still wanted him to appear. If they wanted that, then they should contact WWE & get approval.
Steamboat now has been rehired by WWE.
