WWE News: Dean Ambrose says he was met with laziness from Brock Lesnar for their Wrestlemania 32 match

Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar squared off at Wrestlemania 32.

Dean Ambrose faced Brock Lesnar in a much-anticipated match at Wrestlemania 32, with the stipulation of the match being a “No Holds Barred Streetfight”. It was expected by many that the match would be the match of the night but unfortunately, it fell completely flat and ended in a mere 12 minutes. There was no blood or barely any of the edginess that was expected, even though people were aware it was PG.The expectation was also that the match would be Dean Ambrose’s career-making performance, even though it would be in a PG environment. Ambrose is no stranger to streetfights or extreme matches, as it was part and parcel of his “Jon Moxley” character in CZW.On the latest edition of the Stone Cold Podcast on the WWE Network, Ambrose spoke to Austin about the match, and said that he had pitched several ideas for the match, and wanted to go all in just as the fans wanted to see, but was met with laziness from Brock Lesnar who was not interested in going as far as Ambrose wanted to go. However, it hasn’t worked out all too bad for The Lunatic Fringe as he won the WWE World Championship just 2 and a half months later and is now the face of the SmackDown Live brand as its champion.
