In August 2023, rapper Tory Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in prison after he was found guilty of shooting fellow musician Megan Thee Stallion in the foot. In a recent interview with Women’s Health, the femcee discussed the struggles of navigating the media scrutiny during the trial. It seems like not many feel sympathetic towards her, with hip-hop executive Wack 100 being one of them.

In a Jason Lee Show interview, Wack 100 recently opined on the Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion court battle. Wack 100 shared that he believed that the Hiss singer was likely too intoxicated to remember what occurred on the night of the shooting. Wack 100 stated that she might not have remembered the exact facts.

“She’s a liar, not a snitch. Oh, it’s f**ked up, the receipts are coming out one way or another,” he added.

For those uninitiated, Wack 100, whose real name is Cash Jones, is best known for managing rappers like Blueface and The Game. He has amassed a fair amount of criticism in recent years for his controversial statements, including his comments on Nipsey Hussle’s death. Jones, who is married to Kimberly Jones, stated that the hip-hop legend “got what was coming to him,” which left many shocked.

Wack 100 claims Megan Thee Stallion was "antagonized,” leading to the court battle

During the interview, Wack 100 opined that Tory Lanez likely disappointed Megan Thee Stallion, leading to her launching a legal battle against him.

“The’re just delaying it [the receipts] cuz they’re trying to get it in court. If they can’t get it in court, it’s gonna hit the net. And when it hits the net, they’re gonna see that there’s an innocent man in jail… I believe that he antagonized her to a point where she got upset. And women can be vindictive, and women can be evil,” Wack stated.

Wack 100’s comments come after Tory Lanez was found guilty of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot in July 2020 at a party hosted by Kylie Jenner. Lanez was found guilty of three gun-related charges, including having a loaded and unregistered firearm in a vehicle, discharging a firearm with gross negligence, and assaulting a semi-automatic firearm.

Before being found guilty, Tory Lanez argued that Megan Thee Stallion’s friend Kelsey Harris may have shot Megan out of jealousy, as Megan and Tory were previously involved in a relationship.

Several stars have publicly taken sides in the court battle, including Iggy Azalea and Drake, who support Tory Lanez. 50 Cent initially took sides with Lanez and later apologized to Megan after accusing her of lying about the shooting.

At the time of writing this article, Megan Thee Stallion had not publicly responded to Wack 100’s statements.

“A lot of people didn’t treat me like I was human”— Megan Thee Stallion discusses court case in interview

In an April interview with Women’s Health, Megan Thee Stallion, whose real name is Megan Pete, revealed that she navigated “dark times” after being shot by Tory Lanez.

Megan revealed that she felt the pressure to “take the punches” because she was a “darker Black woman.” Speaking about the backlash she garnered, she also said:

“A lot of people didn’t treat me like I was human for a long time. I feel like everybody was always used to me being the fun and happy party girl. I watched people build me up, tear me down, and be confused about their expectations of me.”

The musician also revealed that she did not wish to perform after returning to music and had to seek counseling to be “truthful” to herself.
