Mumbai Indians have won the toss and have opted to bowl first. Captain Hardik Pandya said:

"At Wankhede, chasing is better. It comes on better in the evening, so we'll go with that."

MI are going in without Jasprit Bumrah, so Arjun Tendulkar comes in. Tilak Varma is out with a niggle, so Dewald Brevis gets a chance. For LSG, Quinton de Kock misses out; Devdutt Padikkal and Matt Henry get a game.

According to Sunil Gavaskar, the surface looks like a typical Mumbai pitch. There will be a lot of runs, but there will also be a bit of help for spinners, he added.
