It's a fresh pitch, it's hot and humid conditions, bit of a breeze coming around as well. The longest hit it straight down the ground is 72m, the shortest is to my right, 56m. They've taken more grass off, almost like a tan colour. I think this will play well, might well be used for India - Pakistan game as well. Spinners will come in handy on this track, keep it wicket to wicket with extra-bounce on offer. Win the toss, it's a bit predictable so bowl first.

Commentary

So, South Africa finally do manage to conquer their bogey team Netherlands but not without a fair share of drama. They consolidate their position at the top of group D while Netherlands are at the third place. Remember, only two teams from every group go through to the super-8. That is it from the action as Nassau County but elsewhere in Barbados the old rivals, Australia and England are having a go against each other. You can switch tab and follow all the action here. Aiden Markram (South Africa captain) : It was a bit nerve-wrecking. A lot of credit to them, how they bowled and played. Even with the bat, they got something on the board, we knew they would be up for a scrap. It is a game of cricket eventually, they have shown that they can beat the big teams time and again. But then, it is a progress for us to get over the line. It is very important for us, the wins are not always pretty but to squeeze a win out of that, not many people would have given us a chance with 4 wickets down. It is good for the team environment. If I compare it to the first game we played, the wicket played a lot better. There was a lot less sideways movement. We have been good with the ball, we need to get some confidence while batting specially at the top in the next games.

Scott Edwards (Netherlands captain): Extremely close, in a score of 100, certainly an over can change the game. They bowled extremely well, the way they batted towards in the end, credit to them. Probably hard to tell, may be there was little more to it, I think it was just different and just getting an understand how the wicket plays. I think we pride ourselves on playing good tournaments. In the last few seasons, guys have stood up and little bit extra against South Africa may be. Right until that last six, we backed ourselves, it was a tough wicket to bat on. We felt, if had got David there, we could've crossed the line.

David Miller is the Player of the Match! Here's what he has to say: It was just a good finish in the end. To be honest, it's a bit of both, wicket played better compared to the first two. Netherlands made it difficult but hitting the right areas. We were 20-4, we needed to consolidate and shift the momentum on to our side. Bowling really well is a must, with low totals, you can't go into shells, we needed to grind out. Does make it challenging, got home with our tailenders, makes a bit more tricky to get close and you don't want to be short in the end. I thought I got to finish the game from there.

For a majority of the chase it seemed that the Dutch would tame the high-flying South Africans yet again but in the end it was a special innings from David Miller that takes the Proteas over the line in what was a fantastic game of cricket.

It was a paltry total of 103 that South Africa needed to chase but they came out with a bundle of nerves. They got off to the worst possible start as de Kock got run out at the non-striker's end on the very first ball of the run chase. His opening partner, Reeza, looked really jittery and got out after struggling for a while. The skipper, Markram, followed rather soon and the big wicket of Klassen was taken too by the Dutch as South Africa were reeling at 12/4.

But then entered David Miller and he looked determined from the very start. He got an able ally in Tristan Stubbs and the duo took their team out of a really precarious situation as they forged an invaluable partnership. They saw off the overs for a while and then the duo started opening their hands.

Just as it started to look like it would be a smooth sail for the duo, Stubbs got out and the door was open for Netherlands again. Jansen too was dismissed soon and it was all down to Miller. He took it all upon himself and with some clean striking towards the end took South Africa over the line from a position where it could have gone either way.

For Netherlands, all the bowlers were brilliant and the fact that they made this run chase of 103 such a big task for South Africa tells you a thing or two. They kept things simple and got the rewards. Kingma and van Beek got 2 wickets each but the likes of van Meekeren and de Leede too kept it tight but it was too low a total in the end.

18.5 Bas de Leede to David Miller, SIX! KABOOM! IT'S ALL OVER! Killer Miller on show through and through, takes South Africa home by 4 wickets. Fraction short on the off-stump, Miller on to it in a flash and dispatched it with disdain over deep square-leg for a huge hit to seal the game in style

Miller has played some blazing innings in his career for various teams but you won't want to bet against the fact that this would be one of his most satisfying innings

18.4 Bas de Leede to David Miller, FOUR MORE! What a shot from Miller and brings up the FIFTY in style, what a time to turn up for your team! Back of a length outside the off-stump, Miller waits and thumped it over extra-cover, goes one bounce into the ropes.

18.3 Bas de Leede to David Miller, pace off, bangs in the short delivery, just outside the off-stump. Miller let's it go thinking it would be called a wide but it wasn't.

Filthy delivery but importantly Miller did not miss out on it and parked it over the fence. 10 off 11 now

18.1 Bas de Leede to David Miller, SIX! BAM! That brings the equation down again. Poor delivery from de Leede. Short from round the wicket, angling down the leg-side. Miller pounced on it, swivels and dispatched it over deep backward square-leg for a maximum.

Very interesting decision from Miller to refuse the single off the last ball. He keeps the strike and now South Africa need 16 runs off 12 balls. Remember, either Pringle or Vikramjit need to bowl one of the two overs remaining.
