Brandin Podziemski is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Golden State Warriors. He brings versatility to the Warriors lineup, being a combo guard, he can shoot, make plays and hustle on the defensive end.

Podziemski played college basketball for both University of Illinois Urbana Champaign and Santa Clara. In his sophomore season for Santa Clara, he played 36.0 minutes per game, averaging 19.9 points, 8.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.8 steals per game. He shot 43.8% from the 3-point line, making him an efficient scorer and a defensive stalwart.

The rookie has become an integral part of the Warriors rotation, and led the league in charges drawn (38) in the 2023/24 season. In 74 games during the regular season, Podziemski averaged 9.2 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game on 38.5% shooting from deep. He also played the third most minutes for the Warriors (1968.3), behind only Curry (2421.5) and Klay Thompson (2284.2).

Podziemski plays as a shooting-guard for the Warriors, but has the versatility to play as a combo-guard. He has great two-way potential and can score at all three levels. In the 2023/24 season, Podziemski started 28 games out of 74, and had the highest plus-minus for the Warriors (+264). He ranked 12th in defensive rebounds (309), sixth in offensive guards (118) and seventh overall (427) amongst guards.

Brandon Podziemski was drafted by the Golden State Warriors with the 19th pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. He had a successful sophomore season with Santa Clara, and was named in the First-team All-WCC team. He was also named the West Coast Conference Player of the Year in his sophomore season.

Podziemski was one of only three NCAA Division one men's basketball players to average 19 points, eight rebounds, and three assists in the 2022/23 college season. He finished fifth in the nation in 3-point field goal percentage (43.8%).
