Caleb Martin is a professional basketball player for the Philadelphia 76ers as of November 2024. He originally went undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft and later signed with the Charlotte Hornets in July 2019. He was waived off after two seasons and signed a two-way contract with the Miami Heat in September 2021. He also played for the NBA's Greensboro Swarm in the 2019-20 season and the Sioux Falls Skyforce in 2021. In his five seasons in the NBA, he has played in 275 games, starting 96, averaging 8.5 points, 1.6 assists, and 4 rebounds as of November 12, 2024.

Martin hails from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and attended Davie County High School in Mocksville. He then went to Oak Hill Academy, a prep powerhouse in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia, in the U.S. In 2014, he committed to North Carolina State University and after his sophomore year, he transferred to the University of Nevada, Reno, in 2017. He won the 2018 Mountain West Player of the Year and Mountain West Newcomer of the Year. Further, he was also named for the first-team All-Mountain West two times in 2018 and 2019. In his four seasons in college, he played in 139 games, starting 79, averaging 13.6 points, 1.9 assists and 4.5 rebounds.

Knee Injury (Oct 2023)

At the beginning of the 2023-24 regular season, Martin played in the Miami Heat vs. Detroit Pistons, in which he sustained a left knee tendinosis injury on October 26, 2023. According to Basketball Reference, due to this injury, he missed nine games in a row and returned on November 16, 2023, in a Miami Heat vs. Brooklyn Nets game.
