Caris Coleman LeVert is an American professional basketball player, born on August 25, 1994, in Columbus, Ohio, United States. As of March 2025, he plays as a shooting guard/small forward for the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA. He attended the University of Michigan and played for the Michigan Wolverines men's basketball team. During his four seasons from 2012 to 2016, he made his debut on December 29, 2012, against Central Michigan. LeVert was named to the second team 2013–14 All-Big Ten selection in 2014 and was selected to the All-District V team by the United States Basketball Writers Association. LeVert played a total of 103 games, averaging 26.4 minutes played game, with 10.4 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game.

Caris LeVert was selected by the Indiana Pacers as the 20th overall pick in the first round of the 2016 NBA Draft but was later traded to the Brooklyn Nets in July 2016. He was Michigan's fifth first-round draft selection since 2013. With the Nets, he played from 2016 to 2021, after which he was traded to the Indiana Pacers in a multi-player, four-team trade involving the Cleveland Cavaliers and Houston Rockets. He joined the Cavaliers, on February 6, 2022, and played for three seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers and in February 2025, LeVert was traded to the Atlanta Hawks.
