Chris Boucher, who was born on January 11, 1993, in Castries, Saint Lucia, relocated to Montreal, Canada, with his mother when he was five years old. Boucher is 6 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds He played college basketball for the Oregon Ducks and was not selected in the 2017 NBA Draft; however, he managed to sign his first contract with the Golden State Warriors and gained exposure to the NBA.

Boucher is a versatile player who can play as a power forward and center. In the 2023-24 season, Boucher averaged 6.4 points, 0.5 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game for the Toronto Raptors, as per ESPN. He has been a great addition to the Raptors because of his good defense and his shooting range. Boucher has been an NBA champion twice with the Raptors and has received other awards such as the NBA G League Most Valuable Player and the NBA G League Defensive Player of the Year in 2019.

After dropping out of high school at 16, he worked as a cook and dishwasher until he joined an Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) team, Alma Academy, which helped him earn a high school diploma. He decided to play for the New Mexico Junior College and was there from 2013-2014, following which he transferred to Northwest College in 2014 and ended his collegiate career at the University of Oregon, playing for them from 2015 to 2017. He declared for the 2017 NBA Draft but was unfortunately not picked. He finally signed a two-way contract with the Golden State Warriors.
