One of the best point guards of all time, Chris Paul currently plays for the Golden State Warriors in the NBA. He is a 12-time All-Star and has been named on the All-NBA First Team on four occasions.

Drafted fourth overall in 2005 by the New Orleans Hornets (now known as the Pelicans), Paul averaged 16.1 points, 7.8 assists, and 5.1 rebounds per game in his rookie season. As a result, he was named NBA Rookie of the Year in 2006.

Before the Warriors, Paul was part of the Phoenix Suns team which advanced to the NBA Finals for the first time since 1993. Although the Suns ultimately fell to the Milwaukee Bucks in six games, Paul demonstrated his continued excellence on the court, averaging 21.8 points and 8.2 assists per game during the series. He joined the Golden State Warriors on June 24, 2023.

Paul was born on May 6, 1985, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He played college basketball at Wake Forest University, where his standout performances earned him All-American honors twice in 2005 and 2006. He along with his brother grew up in Lewisville, North Carolina.

Over his career, Paul has played for several teams, including the Houston Rockets and the Los Angeles Clippers, He is also a two-time Olympic gold medalist, having won in 2008 and 2012 as a member of the United States men’s basketball team. Known for his excellent court vision, leadership, and defensive skills, Paul has consistently been a top-tier point guard throughout his career. His ability to control the game's pace and make his teammates better has made him a valuable asset to every team he has played for.

Besides basketball, Paul is also known for his philanthropic efforts off the court, primarily through the Chris Paul Family Foundation, which is dedicated towards improving the lives of children and families in underserved communities.
